La Previa
Sports stats in Telegram: form, head-to-head, corners and cards. No predictions, no tips, no betting.
La Previa is a Telegram bot that gives you the numbers on a match before it starts: recent form, head-to-head, corners, cards and how often both teams end up scoring.
Behind it there are thirty years of results in LaLiga, Segunda, the Premier League, the Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1. Corners and cards start in the 2005-06 season, which is as far back as the source publishes them, and in the leagues added later the history is shorter. The panel always tells you how many matches it is talking about.
Nine sports and close to thirty competitions: the big European football leagues and their cups, EuroLeague and NBA basketball, the NFL, MLB, the NHL, IPL cricket, rugby, volleyball and handball. The fixtures and kick-off times update on their own every night.
One rule it never breaks. About a match that has not been played yet, the bot only speaks in words: tight, clear favourite. Never a number. About one that has already been played the numbers do come out, because by then it is history. Putting a percentage on next Sunday is playing tipster, and that is not what we wanted to be.
To be clear: this is not a predictions app and it is not a betting app. The numbers describe what already happened, they do not promise what is going to happen. Paid tips and bookmaker promotions are banned in the group: it is a place to argue about sport with the data in front of you, not to sell picks.
Every matchweek the group plays a pools game. You mark home, draw or away before the matches start, and the table rewards getting them right, not playing a lot. The group is free and nobody is thrown out for stopping paying.
The app opens free, with two team comparisons a day that reset at midnight; opening one again that you already looked at today does not count. The subscription costs 500 Telegram Stars every 30 days and the only thing it does is lift that limit: the group, the pools game and the standings are free for everyone.
The app is in Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, Italian and Russian.
