CORDADA TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Last updated: 30 August 2026

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE

  1. WHAT CORDADA IS AND WHO IT IS FOR

Cordada organises groups of developers who test each other's apps to get through Google Play's closed testing requirement (12 testers over 14 days). It is a tool for adults (18+) who publish their own apps or are authorised over the ones they register. By creating an account you accept these terms.

  1. YOUR ACCOUNT

You sign in with your Google account, and it must be the same one Play Store uses on your phone and the one you join the tester group with; otherwise installations fail. You are responsible for what is done with your session. You can delete your account at any time from the app's menu: deletion is immediate and any rope you had is lost (section 5). How your data is handled is described in the privacy policy.

  1. HOW A CORDADA WORKS

When you enrol your app you pay an entry in rope that works as a deposit. The cycle lasts 14 days, in five stages with deadlines. If you finish everything on your side, you get half back; the other half is the cost of the service. If you drop out or repeatedly miss deadlines, the deposit is not returned and your place may be filled by someone else.

The rule is symmetrical: if an app in your group cannot be tested (incompatible, withdrawn, broken credentials...), reporting it exempts you from that app at no cost, and its publisher decides whether to fix it or release you entirely. If several group members report the same thing, the app is withdrawn from the group without penalising anyone else. A cordada never restarts: vacancies are filled while it runs.

  1. ONE-OFF TESTS

Whoever publishes a one-off sets the goal and the reward, and deposits the rope in advance, plus a non-refundable fee. The reward is paid when you complete the test meeting the published goal and delivering the requested evidence; filler feedback can be reported and clawed back (section 7). Unused slots are refunded on closing, and one-offs expire on their own after 30 days.

  1. ROPE

Rope is an internal virtual currency: it is not money, cannot be exchanged for money, cannot be transferred between accounts outside the app's own mechanisms, and is only of use inside Cordada. If rope is ever sold, payment will be processed by Google Play under its own terms. Unless mandatory law says otherwise, rope is non-refundable; when you delete your account or are expelled for breaching these terms, the balance is lost.

  1. WHAT YOU MUST NOT DO
  • Fake, mass-generated or filler feedback, and fraudulent screenshots.
  • Using multiple accounts or devices to inflate groups, metrics or rewards.
  • Harassment, spam, or using chat and feedback to divert people to other services.
  • Registering an app that is not yours or that breaches Google Play's policies.
  • Attacking, probing or technically abusing the service.
  1. CONSEQUENCES

Reports from other users are reviewed with thresholds designed so a single report cannot be used as a weapon. Breaching these terms can mean losing rewards obtained by cheating, suspension, or permanent expulsion, with no rope refunded. Any rights granted to you by mandatory law always remain intact.

  1. YOUR APPS, YOUR CREDENTIALS AND YOUR CONTENT

Your app is yours and you answer for it and for its Play listing. Any test credentials you share must belong to test accounts with no real data: your group's members will see them. The feedback and screenshots you submit are yours; you grant us a limited licence to store them and show them to the right person (whoever publishes the app you tested). Reading the feedback on your own app is free, and will stay free.

  1. WHAT CORDADA DOES NOT GUARANTEE

Cordada is not Google and does not decide for Google: completing the cycle does not guarantee your app reaches production. Community statistics describe the past; they do not promise the future. The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability.

  1. LIABILITY

The apps you test belong to third parties: they always arrive through Google Play's testing channel, never as loose files, and you install them using your own judgement. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to whatever you paid Cordada in the last 12 months.

  1. CHANGES

If these terms change in any way that affects you, it is announced inside the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Cordada after the notice means accepting the change; if you disagree, you can delete your account.

  1. GOVERNING LAW

Spanish law, without prejudice to the consumer protections of the country where you live. For any questions: [email protected].

This policy is declared and signed by whoever publishes the app. Fulgeon only hosts it and shows it: it does not review it, verify it or approve it, and it does not answer for its truthfulness or for it being honoured. The party responsible for handling your data and for your rights is the app's author, not Fulgeon.
